Sugar Art Expo - Stitches & Craft

Stitches and Craft turned 21 this year and the Victorian Cake Decorating Society's Sugar Art Expo was fantastic!

Congratulations to all our Casey branch members that not only entered the competition but come away with some great results as well.

We are a group of people with the same interest - CAKE DECORATING!

Our Society was formed in November 1990 as a non-profit organisation to promote the art of cake decorating to all Victorians. We are affiliated with the Australian National Cake Decorators Association Inc.

The Casey Branch was born in October 2005 and we hold regular workshops and demonstrations throughout the year - open to both members and visitors alike.

The Casey Branch is a young energetic group of members, looking forward to building a strong skill set by starting with the basic techniques and working upwards. We welcome all VCDC members and visitors to our workshops and the only requirement we have is that you bring along your passion for cake!

The venue for Casey Branch demonstrations and workshops is the Old Cheese Factory. At one point an operating cheese factory, built in 1874, the building nows operates primarily as a function venue.
